What age do I need to be to join MP Health?2017-07-31T17:15:02+01:00

We have 1 session per week for ages 8-12 year olds on a Friday at 530pm, beyond this our youth membership is open to ages 12+ and adult membership ages 18+. We cater for all ages with no upper limit.

Our programmes are designed specifically for your age, stage of development and ability/fitness level. Youth sessions are restricted to 4 or 5pm each weekday or Saturday at 11am as we provide a group session fully supervised. For members aged 18+ we ask that you book in with us for your first few sessions to ensure we have someone on hand to guide you on your way and from then on, we supervise and ensure you are following your programme at all times.


How often can I attend the gym with a membership?2017-07-31T17:22:02+01:00

Members can attend at their own leisure within opening times, we will set your programme and recommend the number of sessions you should attend per week, you can attend a variety of classes on top of this that are free to all members. See our timetable for more info.

Many people have the misconception that you need to be fit to attend the gym! Our purpose is to help you improve your fitness, gym confidence and help you reach your goal, regardless of ability. No prerequisite level of fitness is required we will tailor your programme to be specific to your needs. Anyone and everyone can attend, go ahead and start today!

A membership at MP Health includes an initial assessment of your movement, then a tailored programme to your needs and full access to the gym equipment and classes.  You will be given tuition on your programme and supervision when exercising as well as advice on fitness and nutrition. You can access additional services such as personal training or 1-1 sessions on nutritional planning or psychology/NLP sessions at an additional cost.

We understand our expertise is specialised and that you may wish to access our services from further afield. In this instance you can purchase a Functional Movement Screen and corrective programme for a one off cost. We also offer personal training, sports psychology/NLP and sports specific training for those who wish to access our specialist services outwith a membership.
